So this week was rough but great. We realize the realities of boot camp. We all were taking things lightly, as if it were a basic summer camp. The boot hit us in the butt this week. Some of our shipmates were sent off to RAMP, meeting/failing time objectives, finally meeting our mentors CAPT Andersen and YNC Marshall and our seamanship instructor, PO Thompson.
Week 03 was by far the hardest, toughest, saddest, yet strongest weeks we’ve had. We got 04 of our shipmates back from RAMP, sadly we lost 02, but because of this we are united. We don’t want to lose anyone else, we’re all family, we’re all shipmates and we all intend on graduating together. We’re seaman recruits for now, but shipmates forever!
