I went around to my shipmates and asked all of them to describe the week in one word and I got a lot of different responses. I got disappointing, hard, rough, stressful, overwhelming, and I even got craptastic. But a common theme was motivating.
When I asked my shipmates to explain, they all talked about how embarrassing this week was in general. They didn’t want a week like this again, and I think that is a consensus.
We start week 06 tomorrow, we graduate in less than 03 weeks and we are not where we should be.
People are putting personal gain way in front of company gain and not learning. I’m pretty sure next week we will definitely be “trimming the fat.”
I think this is the only alternative. Slackers will have to learn, but most likely not with LIMA-188.
Our Company Commanders can only push so hard, some people just need a longer time to learn and I’m anticipating major changes very soon.
