Recruit Journal Sierra 188 Week: 05
Formed: August 6, 2013
Graduate: September 27, 2013

Sunday September 8th marks a big change for Sierra company. Not only are we beginning week 06 tomorrow, but today we went off base for a company run. This was by far the biggest team building event we have experienced thus far.

The run was about three miles and Petty Officer Luedecke said we were one of the strongest running companies he’d ever been in. We are all eager to do it again next week.

Earlier in the day we practiced our manual of arms test several times. Everyone is beginning to look and act the part of a Coast Guardsman, although we all know it’s going to be a tough week ahead.

With the way we are starting to work together, Sierra can accomplish anything our Company Commander’s throw at us.
