Week 04. FOXTROT-191. #chewchew #yumyum.

So for all who read this historical document of the tenacious acts from the biggest, baddest company on the regiment, prepare for the next NJ best seller. I was going to wait to unleash this but since y’all have been good readers y’all get it early. Now I could go on and tell you one by one everything we did in detail but, in all honesty, you just wouldn’t get it; it’s kind of an “experience it for yourself” thing, so I’m just going to give you the version y’all will dig:

#bangbang Yes, that’s right, FOXTROT-191 got to practice their shooting on Monday at the Armory. #push #pull Tuesday #yuck That about sums up Tuesday—just don’t ask, trust me.

Wednesday #bald Petty Officer Allen sacrificed his luscious locks for FOXTROT-191’s victory in the PF assessment! We nailed our Close Order Drill test (9/10) and we advance to 90% suck instead of 95% #gotbetter.

Thursday #dreamsheets woke up smelling like excellence and willingly filled out paperwork for the first time. We all hope that we get where we want! All of FOXTROT-191 passed their knot tying and helmsman tests as well.

Friday #theresnotarealfire #CCs…It’d be nice if one morning they could just walk in with a cup of coffee and be like “Ok dude, time to kick today’s butt, enjoy your coffee!” Maybe when pigs fly and Chief Kilduff grows hair. Only 08 FOXTROT recruits passed the midterm…Yeah, plan on canceling that hotel room and plane ticket for Billy. Fortunately for y’all I ate a box of crayons before writing this, what I meant to say is that 100% of FOXTROT-191 passed!!! Pretty sure we’ve had chewy bars harder than that test, but who knows, might just be the crayons…

Saturday #victory if there was a handbook on how to get through a day of boot camp like a boss it would just say #FOXTROT191 #16MAY15 I mean, DANG I think we could all smell graduation or maybe it was just the stank from our workout, but that’s beside the point. We totally owned it.

You know that people hear stories of boot camp and what it’s like, whether you’re watching “Full Metal Jacket” or “It’s Just 8 Weeks” on YouTube, you really have to be here. It’s weird how you get a different perspective on your CC’s once you take a step back and look how far we’ve come and how much we’ve learned. Our CC’s are really just big, buff, bald teachers born without inside voices. I like to think of it as, they wouldn’t scream and put forth setting the building on fire that many times if they didn’t care. Except Petty Officer Wasowski…I’m pretty sure she even screams at her mailman. No one can escape the wrath of Wasowski #motivatoroftheyear

FOXTROT-191 out week 04, stepping off for week 05!
