Q-191 Week 02 Summary

After tomorrow we will be five Sundays away from being out of here! That is if we do what we need to do. So this week was a pretty physical one. Especially considering we’ve had about 5 plus sweat sessions every day. That aside it was nice to get in the pool for the swim assessment. Other than that the general consensus suggests that the highlights of this week fall completely on the classes. From dental INDOC, to Anti-Terrorism/ Force protection, to a great couple of talks with BMC Duff (our company mentor). Especially when he let us relax during are class room time with him. It’s starting to feel like we’re learning more. Not just from the classes though, Petty Officer Casey and the company commanders teach us things we could never imagine. Yes we’re not perfect but we’re catching on. Throughout this week just seems like that time we’re things are starting to move in the right direction. We’re learning more about each other and how we react and where we excel and where we FALL! It’s only a matter of time before we figure out how to use that information to our benefit. Only then can we finally get the time we need to fix our racks and go over the required knowledge. We’ve already seen that “IT PAYS TO BE A WINNER” so if we push on and soon I think we could make it. Already a lot of us have agreed that we have to graduate with Quebec 191. It’s just wouldn’t feel right if we didn’t. So now we know what we need to work hard, we just have to do it. But anyway let’s get back to this week’s events. So we’ve gotten in the pool. Had some classes, done a lot of physical activity (90% of which has been punishment) Got our pieces and have put them to great use in Sniper position (please note sarcasm) OH! Letters came in! The first round of letters came in and we got to tell you guys, we miss you all so much! We are writing every chance we get. 5 minutes on weekdays and Saturday nights and during divine hours. Even though we can’t write to often but we can read those letters so keep them coming! Your love and support helps us press on. That’s about all we have on that. Please keep in touch with us and the Quebec 191 historians will try our best to keep you informed on the latest news on Quebec 191.

Its just chow, chow, chow chewy bar shipmates!
